As we are heading out of summer and into the fall, this is the perfect time to relax and recalibrate for the next chapter of 2020. These types of retreats are often done in person but, with the inability for us to travel and gather in the usual manner, I have crafted this event to be done inside the comfort of your home. No traveling necessary.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with what ‘Rounding’ is, it’s often described as ‘industrial-strength’ meditation in that, spending a few days Rounding can be the equivalent of a few months of consistent daily meditation practice. Students report feeling deeply rested, clearer, relaxed, energized, brighter and ready to re-engage in the world. A retreat like this is a gift you give yourself.
But what does it consist of? Simply put, Rounding is a sequence that begins with a combination of gentle and carefully crafted yoga postures (asana), followed by breathwork (pranayama), then meditation, and ends with a resting pose (savasana). Together, this program allows for a deeper experience of meditation while simultaneously releasing long-held stresses from the physiology.
Rounding does not require any prior experience in yoga, asana, pranayama, flexibility, or coordination. I will teach you everything you need to know by providing and guiding you through all the detailed instructions. Additionally, I will be hosting knowledge meetings, unpacking Vedic philosophy and its relevance in our everyday lives. Furthermore, I will teach you how to integrate Rounding into your home program in a manner that fits your schedule.
Rounding on a regular basis as part of your practice will put you on the fast track to more happiness, clarity, and creativity. It is considered to be an advance practice in the sense that it accelerates you on your path.
